Embracing Tango T21

Madame Pivot has always been supporting "Tango T21", a project born in Florence in 2015 dedicated to the free teaching of Argentine Tango to young adults affected by Trisomy 21, better known as Down syndrome. This activity promotes social interaction within the group of students and with the local tango community, offering them the opportunity to attend social dance events and meet people who share the same passion for tango.

The success of this initiative has encouraged the organisers to promote its replication in other cities, but funds are always needed to keep the project going and making it grow. This is why also this year we are happy to support - and you with us by choosing our shoes - the "Tango T21" project, with the hope that the tango embrace will more and more be recognised as a symbol of friendship, empathy and inclusiveness.
